Product Photography During Social Distancing
Many photoshoots for CPG brands are being canceled due to bans on public gatherings to help limit the spread of coronavirus. Here are a few things you can do to continue to (safely) create content.
- Look to your current roster of influencers, preferably those who already have products to produce more content on your behalf. Influencers are more than a way to get eyeballs on your brand, they’re now more than ever an important part of your content creation process.
2. Check Instagram for tagged photos created by your customers. There are probably some gems in there — just be sure to get the OK from the creator before reposting.
3. Agencies like ours are taking extra steps to keep our staff safe. We are currently limiting photoshoots to 2 people, a photographer, and stylist, in our studio only. We’re still able to create great content for our partners, without having to meet in-person. It might be time to call one up if you haven’t already.
Yes, we have to be more mindful of our health and the safety of our peers, but we also have to continue pushing our businesses forward as much as we can so we can see the other side of this together.
